| Description | More than just a music video, this is a virtual "musical petition" by The:Hours which will aim to influence those in power in all countries to make vital decisions when it comes to the United Nations meeting in Copenhagen on the 7th December 2009, when they will decide how to replace the Kyoto protocol. The Tck Tck Tck campaign, and it’s song "Beds are burning" is an effort on the part of Mr. Kofi Annan, former Secretary General of the United Nations and Nobel Peace Prize winner. Teaming up with Euro RSCG Worlwide, they have launched this six month campaign to raise awareness when it comes to the state of our planet and what is to come next. The track, a cover of Midnight Oil’s 1987 hit classic, features a large and wide array of celebrities who have become involved with the music video and contributed both their image and voices to the track, with many more to come. I knew I heard this song somewhere before..
Because its a Australian song by Midnight Oil,
Has some much meaning,
hopefully it will send a message out to the leaders and make them think harder.
I posted it on my facebook! and so should everyone that can
so it can get views and standout of every other song,
Because this song has meaning and it has to be.. .. Involved ? Influenced ?
you choose your word.
what am saying is the message has to get out,
because i dont want to live when the sun burns out everything.
or where the winds are blowing everything down.
haha! thanks for reading ..
